Swedish Family Medicine Chief Residents

The Chief Residents facilitate the overall well-being of the resident group and the residency as a whole. The Chiefs model the behavior expected from other residents, aids in the faculty/resident communication and helps address resident issues. The Chiefs also meet monthly with the Program Director and Residency Administrator to discuss concerns, activities or upcoming events. In addition to the above, the Chiefs facilitate Resident Forum a minimum of once per month.

Swedish Family Medicine Residency is a dynamic, well-rounded program with supportive and fun residents, faculty and staff. As residents we enjoy strong training in hospital medicine in addition to plenty of outpatient medicine in the community. These community opportunities include seeing patients in the clinic, working with a local high school football team, and visiting patients in a nursing home.
